Hi, I'm Steve. I am ACT 2 CAM's Producer. I have worked as an actor and director for 20 years. I graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama in 1999 and have extensive experience training young actors.

My influences are Stanislavsky, Brecht, Grotowski, Artaud, Beckett, Shakespeare, Leigh… the list really does go on! I really love to get actively involved, and make sure I visit all the ACT 2 CAM centres on a regular basis, to meet our new members and see the films being created

Hi I'm Louise. I am the Secretary of ACT 2 CAM. I am the office manager and carry out the majority of administrative duties in the company. I am an accredited interviewer and qualified in psychometric testing and child safeguarding.

I enjoy meeting all of the young people on the ACT 2 CAM courses, and also parents when they come to the premieres of our films

Hi, I'm Allie I am a recent graduate of the Performance course from Northumbria University. I am a freelance actress currently based in the North East and continue to be involved in work whilst tutoring for the Morpeth ACT2CAM group. I am currently an associate performer for Alphabetti Spaghetti Theatre having supported them in a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the summer.

I have a strong interest in devising and feel spontaneity is key to the development of work both in theatre and film. I encourage the groups to think laterally and creatively. I teach acting techniques such as realism, emotion memory and given circumstances to recreate a true more naturalistic performance which is required when acting for film.

Hi! I'm Melissa and I work with the young artists and designers in the Art Department here at ACT 2 CAM. With a background in theatre and film, I divide my time between working at places like Northern Stage and Theatre Royal Newcastle, and with local and national film projects. I have worked with ACT 2 CAM for almost two years, alongside a fantastic group of colleagues and young people who make up this unique production company.

I believe ACT 2 CAM really puts young people at the heart of every production, enabling them to bring their ideas to life on the big screen with the help and guidance of those already working in the industry. We aim to give young people the skills, experience and confidence that will enable them to go on to have exciting, creative future careers!

Hello! I'm Lauren and I'm a freelance filmmaker and photographer from Birmingham. I graduated with a first class honours degree in 'Advertising & Commercial Film Production'. My short films are noted for the cinematography and have been screened at Film Festivals all over the world.

I am a passionate visual storyteller with experience of working on music videos, commercials and feature films and my work has also taken me overseas. I love sharing my skills, industry knowledge and love for filmmaking with the young people at ACT2CAM.

Hi! My name is Ross and I'm a professional actor and freelance facilitator based in Newcastle. I have several TV and film credits, the most recent being 'Barry' in the BBC's Inspector George Gently. I have also played a lead role in a short movie called 'Leaving' for Northumbria University's Initiate Scheme which was premiered at the Tyneside Cinema.

I've recently secured a role with Kestrel Film as Fergle, for an interactive online TV series called Trylife.tv which is a film all centre around issues faced by young people today and will be part of a website aiming to educate young people in a new way.

Hi I'm Libby, and I was brought up in Gloucestershire, where my love of theatre began at a very early age. I studied Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London.

I have worked as a production runner on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as their Production Runner where I got my first taste for the film industry. I trained in Drama at Reading University, and now work as a Drama teacher. I really enjoy working on the ACT 2 CAM Summer residentials. They are an amazing experience!

My name is Roger and I own the film company, Studio LAX. I run the workshops in Harrogate, Leeds and York. I love gangster films and sci-fi films, and I am influenced by the work of “Beat” Takeshi, a Japanese actor and film–maker.

I enjoy working with young people and teaching them film making techniques.

Hi there, this is Alistair and Richard from Big River Films. We are a North East based video production, company focusing on everything from music videos, documentary, independant drama, corporate and education based films.
